Announcement: draft revision to Midtown Brandywine Neighbors’ Association by-laws

by | Jun 1, 2023 | Governance Committee

The Governance Committee pleased to announce an important update for the Midtown Brandywine Neighbors’ Association. The executive committee (“board”) has recently made available a draft revision of the Association’s by-laws for comment by relevant stakeholders.

The by-laws serve as a fundamental framework guiding the operations and governance of our association. It is essential to periodically review and revise these by-laws to ensure they align with the evolving needs of our community. The current draft revision represents an opportunity to enhance the effectiveness and clarity of our governing rules.

To review the draft revision, we invite you to download the Microsoft Word document from the following link: Download Draft By-Laws Document. Please take note that text highlighted in YELLOW indicates changes from the current bylaws, while text highlighted in RED signifies proposed deletions.

To view the current operable by-laws, please visit the MBNA’s By-Laws page: By-Laws.

We value your input and encourage all relevant stakeholders to provide comments and feedback before the public discussion at our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. If you would like to share your comments in advance of the AGM, please visit our Contact Us page: Contact Us.

For further details regarding the AGM, including the agenda and venue information, please visit the event page on our website: MBNA AGM 2023.

Your engagement and participation are crucial in shaping the future of our association. We look forward to receiving your valuable feedback and having meaningful discussions at the AGM as we work together to strengthen our community.
