A look at the diversity of Midtown Brandywine

Midtown Brandywine is a neighborhood that values and celebrates diversity. With a population that is both racially and ethnically diverse, Midtown Brandywine is a welcoming and vibrant community that is proud of its inclusivity. According to current estimates, the demographics of Midtown Brandywine are as follows: 46% of the population is white, 43% is African American, 7% is Hispanic, 1% is of other races, 1% is of two or more races, and 1% is Asian.

In terms of age, Midtown Brandywine is home to a diverse population of people from different stages of life. Approximately 6% of the population is under 10 years old, 5% is between the ages of 10-17, 4% is between 18-24, 28% is between 25-34, 15% is between 35-44, 12% is between 45-54, 25% is between 55-64, and 5% is 65 years or older.

Education is also a valued aspect of our community, with 12% of the population holding a master’s degree or higher, 23% holding a bachelor’s degree, 42% holding some college or an associate’s degree, 20% holding a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3% holding less than a high school diploma.

This diversity is reflected in the many businesses, organizations, and cultural institutions that call Midtown Brandywine home. Our community is a place where everyone is welcome, and everyone’s voice is heard and valued. From cultural celebrations to community events and local businesses, Midtown Brandywine is a place where diversity is celebrated and embraced. Our people reflect the vibrancy and richness of our community, and we are proud to be a place where people from all backgrounds and stages of life can come together, share their experiences, and maintain our happy, healthy and tolerant community.
